Meet our newest Runner

Hello all, my name is Shaun Roach and I am the newest member of the So We Run team. I started working with SWR a few weeks ago and am pumped to help out with the organization.  I was born in Weymouth, MA, and have lived there my whole life. For as long as I can remember, my parents have stressed the value of serving others. They not only taught me how to serve others, but also showed me how. I have many memories of them going out of their way to serve. One memory that comes to mind is driving all over Boston with my dad to pick up kids for youth group and basketball camps.  Largely due to observing my parents’ humility and life of service I have discovered that my life is not about me.

I now attend Gordon College and I’m blessed to be able to play for the basketball team. Through Gordon hoops I became a friend and trainee of Keith Krass. Keith serves as the assistant basketball coach. Since Coach Krass introduced me to So We Run I have been interested in its mission. I am now very excited to be the first SWR “runner”. It is a true blessing to be able to work for and learn from an organization that has such a heart for service.
